    You should eat up stock to mild 5.0's without much of a problem if you have decent gears and tune. Most of them in stock form struggled to get a 15.50 pass when they were new, 4.6's are as equally unimpressive. It takes ALOT of mods to get those cars into the 13's (I'm talking from 2004 and back).

    I would be willing to bet you will. Hell, the weight savings alone off the front end alone will help. Prepare to re adjust your torsion bars because it will sit up a little bit from the weight drop.

    Stock valve springs with this cam?

    I was going to suggest one of those also...408 Dartman and I compared one of those to an Edelbrock side by side. The casting were cleaner, and matched better than the Edelbrock. A real nice piece for the money, and can't beat the fact they will go on either a Magnum or an LA.

    Indy makes a 500 cubic inch motor that puts out 800 horse with no power adders...Their "cheap" 500 inch motor makes 605 horse no power adders either. And doing a cost comparison of $/hp, they are not any more expensive the the GM stuff.

    Eddy heads and HP manifolds

    The Eddy heads will have clearance problems with any of the stock manifolds. You will have to get headers.
