    So if I get them milled .060 what compression ratio should I be at? What brand re ring kit should I use ? I don't mind spending a little more for a better quality and if I get them milled .060 with stock bottom end what is a good size cam to use?

    I really appreciate all the help I'm going to look into the 89-91 360 but if I decide to stay with the j heads how much should I have milled off to get decent compression ? I don't mind running a higher octane just as long as I can get it at the pump and its not race fuel lol

    Yes stock heads and compression has dual plane intake and headers it has manual brakes so I should be ok using a vacuum secondary carb?
