Im thinking about building a 318 sleeper. So nothing about 340 or 360 or some big block. Ok so what you guys think? What kind of parts should I use? I was thinking a stroker kit but would that make it sound not stock? Im just going to run flowmasters for exhaust. Not to big of a cam or at least...

Well I looked at them, they seem to get a decent amount of power and I dont have to put alot on the top end to get the power i want out of it. I found a kit from RPM Machine (someone mentioned them to me) but for about 1700 bucks i get a 3.580 crank, a set of 6.123 I beam rods, forged dome top...

My dads scary haha I was giving it a look and I think Ill go with a 349 stroker, there pretty good sounding and you can get up to a streetable 500 ponies but I dont think Id need that many but how knows:snakeman::evil4: Thanks for all the help guys

I have a 71 duster that came with a 318 and a 727 it has 8 3/4 sure grip it what I was told. Basicly Im looking sleeper/nice streeter, something that isnt over the top just nice power. So I thought 350-400 hp was good but I dont know, your thought would help lol Thanks guys

So heres my question whats the difference between a 318 and a 340? It cant be that much right? Cause there both small blocks and very close to the same look. And heres the other question, Could I take a 318 and make it into a 340? If so how? thanks
