    I recently had to change mine and with double springs on Eddie heads and could not get the finger style puller to work. I went with the pro-from and it worked well. If I was doing it often, I'd look hard at the one from LSM but its close to $300 for the compressor and adapter

    I was originally looking at the Crane lifters but read that their rivets were quite a bit larger needing excessive block removal for clearance. Again this was an old post, but their website still states that they are not designed for these blocks. Just seeing who makes a lifter that can be made...

    How much did you have to remove from the block? Did you punch through to the water jackets anywhere? Are you running a comp cam as well?
