1967 318's also had the 920 casting closed chamber heads. Same castings on the 273 in 67. The 67 318 i have has 920's on it. Unless someone took them off a 67 273 and used them on the 318 i traded. I always wondered why 67 was the only year for closed chamber big and small block.

I would follow iskys specs for break in lash settings. call them and ask. I would re-check the valves lash settings once the motor hits operating temp.(hot) Then continue the break in. I would set the total timing at 32 to 34 for the break in. I always liked 20 to 25 minutes at 2200 rpms. Do 10...

I just bought two holley street dominator intakes and they are in really good shape. I like them because of the small --318 size-- intake ports and are also a single plain intake. Just wondering if anyone has used, or runs one of these intakes. :burnout:

I went to the engine builders garage and showed him the rods and he must have miss understood what rod i was talking about. I bought SIR I beam rods, but he thought i was talking about the eagle H beam rods. I guess he had a few engines destroy the eagle H beam rods. I guess it's kind of good...

They are only $75 bucks and look to be in good shape. If i use them in my 273, it would be lucky to see 300 horse.
