they rust in pretty good, try spraying with some nut buster first and let soak

they make swap motor mounts to go from /6 to v8. but i would change to v8 k frame since its an easy swap with motor out and you might want to rebuild front end and change torsion bars anyways. just my 2 cents

ground out the starter relay where neutral safety hooks up , its a simple check since you have spark and fuel.

would that pulley be a single or double groove your looking for.
