    I depends on what ignition you are using. stock mopar electronic ignition calls for .035 gap, while the GM HEI setup calls for .045 gap. I would consult your ignition manufactures guidelines.

    I think you should have more than 5 inches of vacuum at idle, make sure you don't have a vacuum leak

    Ed how are you coming up with 300ci? I was "thinking out loud" one day and posted this on .org http://slantsix.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=42617&highlight=stroker I only came up with 255 cubes. I think it can be done but im not sure your gonna increase your displacement by 1/3

    I wouldn't use them. I put them on a friends car, a 64 valiant with 318, after 50 miles they were hitting the valve spring retainer enough to put a nice half moon circle on the rockers. I thought I had pictures but I cant find them.

    I spoke with Gary P. Once, sold him a manifold. He told me he has his cams reground, l think he said Oregon cams.
