My 512 stroker has started cutting off and then catches right back up, ocassionally backfires when doing this and sometimes just quits. It has a 440 source distributor,MSD 6Al box with 8,000 chip and MSD coil. Instaslled additional ground strap. No change. Checked all connections and everything...

I have tha happen also and now I take fior granted the mechanicals are toast and pay accordingly.

I run a comp .509 with .248/.248 in my belvedere. Edelbrock 88 heads, eddy dual plane and 750 holly. lots of low end torque. will easily turn 6500 rpm on a stock bottom end, this works well with the 4 spd and 323 hwy gears.
