I put one in my 69 dart went in nicely with a little fabrication.Like I have said before its hard to find anything that is a clean simple swap.JMHO Kevin.
I guess a few here have been through this.My 26 inch mopar 2 core rad with clutch fan worked okay. But started to leak went with champion 26 inch 3 core and now my clutch fan wont fit. 11 lbs cap no radiator not puking. Thanks Kevin.
I put a 26 inch champion radiator and 2 12 inch fans connected directly to radiator.Fans on 180 0ff 160.Thought I would use a 160 degree thermostat to help.2 bottles of water wetter. No good shut off at 215 coasted home,Kevin.
I have a champion 3 core 26 inch rad in my 69 dart with 2 12 inch fans attached directly to rad. No shroud 165 thermostat 180 degree fan on switch will not keep it cool on hot day 90 degree stop and go traffic,Kevin.
No it is the on 180 off 170 type no adjustment. Just wondering if it would make any diffeence whhether the the unit is in the top tank of radiator or the intake manifold for cooling purposes,Thanks Kevin.
My electric fan kit came with the screw in probe. The new alum. raditor has a sensor spot in in top tank.It would be easier to wire. But what is better for the fan switch top tank or intake manifold? Thank Kevin.
I have a 69 dart with mild 340 26 inch mopar radiator. That I dont know what it is out of shroud and viscous fan. I have no cooling issues but have thought about putting in a 16 inch electric fan in its place to free up some horse power. I read here about so many cooling problems should I try it...
To me that does not sound that hot.I am not a expert but may be you should see if it might go up and then stabilize. It might go to 210 and stop which is not that bad.JMO.Thanks Kevin.
