    the guy that owns the Hot Rod shop in town swears by Quick Wire.... He won't install a Painless system. In fact before i started this his advice was to sell the Painless kit on Craigs list and get a Quick Wire.

    Got It!!!! It seems that the turn signal switch needs to be cleaned after sitting in the barn for 28 years... All is working as it should. Thank You 67 DART and yes especially for someone as electrically challenged as me they could have made it a little easier to work with.

    I agree to much heat. Check your grounds!!! Can't be grounded enough.

    harness plug getting hot

    CHECK your GROUNDS!!! My Barracuda did the same thing. I added a ground wire from the engine to the K frame and all is well again. Almost ruined a new Year One harness.

    "I think" that that one goes to the heater motor. If the heater box assy is still in the car it will be on top of the assy. you won't be able to see it but you can feel for the prongs.
