    /6 swap for 318 now it won't even turn the starter? nuetral safty switcch?

    PO had a starter switch under the dash???? 74 had the seat belt interlock - wonder if that switch was bypassing a defective interlock....

    Mysterious/intermittent ignition starting problem

    Drake, The neutral safety switch is a good possibility but..... With your car being a 74, you have another possibility - the seat belt interlock. One year only nightmare, car will not start without seatbelts fastened, most were disabled within a week. I had this issue with my 74 Charger...
