hello, i bought the coil new with the dizzy from hauser racing here in the uk, i said my intended aplication and told the coil matches the dizzy and will work with the mds settup, i imagine its the sold state, it says blaster 2 on side.

hello, all wiring good as i rewired car, was using the white wire when points dizzy, now using the two wires from mag output,<white disconected> have good connections to constant positive/negative and to coil, i will however be rechecking thr switched 12v ign supply as this the only weak link...

hello, have asked before, have standard dash going back in my car, has tacho guage inbetween speedo and fuel/temp etc cluster,had a blue wire which i think was to live + a grey with tracer which i have connected to - coil,i ran an earth to back of guage and nothing, any inpup be much appreciated.

hi there, try this method.... go around the car,:clock: make a list of what electricals are on there and more importantly what is working, ie lights,back up lights,horn, radio,interior lights,cigar,trunk light etc etc......:read2:then pull #1 fuse and see what stops working, :cheers:make a note...

never change points as they wont wear, they only "triggering"the msd. the unit will run with points or elec dizzy.

hey there, i ran a 6al copy in my 440,same wiring diagram on back, same colour etc.even put on mates boss mustang....great spark etc.HOWEVER....i got a second hand msd and fitted that and happy with it, guess its the usual " if its so cheep why scenario" my dizzy is single points type...
