It doesn't seem to be that badly corroded, the problem is your fingers can't get to the sides of the bulb, not enough room. I can push it in, just can't turn it. kinda hard to explain. maybe it's the wrong bulb and it's too big?

maybe i need a new lock cylinder too. I got home but when I started it up and took my hand away, the key came out with the cylinder still on the key, car stayed running. so i pushed it back in and drove home. :)
