Are you sure they are square? Just not carboned up...my heads looked like that and I just ran a drill bit in and removed the carbon and then tapped a 1/4 20 thread in and used set screws to plug them....

Thanks everyone...went and got the manifolds from pick a part today along with the 90 degree filter adapter and quite a bit of window trim..and the headlight and wiper switches.all for 60 bucks....thinking of going back and getting the rest of the trim...:glasses7:

Got a chance to either get a set of manifolds off a 72 318 car for my 72 Dart with mild 360 for $50...or should I just get a cheap set of headers for the better flow?...Cons for manifolds are restrictive....and for headers are clearance...pros for headers are flow and for manifolds are...

Many years ago when I was still very green...I installed an accell distributor and supercoil....and all I got was popping from the exhaust...the more I revved the more it popped...come to find out between the coil and distributor needed a ballast resistor...voila it quit popping and drove...
