Trimmed the dash, flipped the mount and added about an inch of spacers. Will put the wheel right where it needs to be.

Thanks for the input everyone! I flipped the mount upside down. I have another dash frame that already had the radio hole cut out, so I just trimmed a spot for the bracket to fit up between where the studs mount. Looks like I will need 1" spacers and some longer bolts to test fit it. I didn't...

you don't need the "socket", use a pipe wrench or big crescent wrench. Even if you have to buy one that will work you still have a tool that will do lots of jobs, not just one.

I got a set too, I like them. They don't release the best when you are putting them on, but they definitely make me feel safe.

you could probably swap the column out and sell the one you took out. I had to get an adapter to lengthen my column (i swapped power for manual), and the adapter was $90 itself.

hi, I rebuilt the front end on my 70 dart, and now i need to do an alignment. A neighbor bought the tools to do it so i can do it myself since his tools have instructions with them. the only other thing i need is the specs to adjust it to. does anyone know what the are/where i can find them...

Rebuilt my front end, got the car back on the ground, and the service manual tells me that i need to adjust the torsion bars to the correct ride height. However, they do not give me the correct height or where to measure it from. I'm sure someone here knows and can help me with it. Thanks Steve
