    8 3/4 Diff fluid in a 68 Cuda.

Thank you very much 512Stroker, 66340SEDAN, Dana67Dart, I didn't want to over buy as the synthetic stuff is expensive and Keystone Automotive will not take returns on any chemical or fluids.

    Power Steering Fluid Level

I have a TRW power steering pump in my car with a vented cap, when the car is cold where should the fluid level be inside the reservoir? At the moment the level sits right where the neck starts.

    Subframe connectors

Why not wait and just weld them in, why put holes in you frame if you really don't have to, my 2 cents.

    68 Barracuda Ball Joints

Some Insight please, there is two different lower ball joints available for a 68 Cuda, one set is for a car with front drum brakes and the other set is for a car with factory disc brakes. I converted my drum brakes to discs using the SSBC conversion kit, but I'll assume that since its not...

Anyone running QA1 shocks on their ride.

Thanks for the reply's, some good insight here, sounds like a shock where one better get the adjustments dialed in correct for the application or the ride can be a disappointment.

    Bilstein Shocks

Hi mvh, thank you, this vendor is the same seller on ebay that I retrieved the part numbers from. My problem is not being able to locate these shocks through a few select sellers, I just can't understand how other performance shop's and venders that sell Bilstein shocks do even recognize those...

    Bilstein Shocks

The part numbers I'm getting for Bilstein shocks off Ebay for my 68 Barracuda is 55-R092 or BIL55R092 rear shocks and 55-R082 or BIL55R082 front shocks, Summit Racing, Jeg's, Keystone Automotive, none of these places accept that part number in their search box. Does someone have the correct part...

    Front Shocks ???????

There seems to a very large selection of front shocks available for a 68 Cuda, ranging from $15.00each all the way up to $200.00each. The way I look at it, my car I guess would fall into the category of street/strip, since I have no intentions on racing the car then there is no point to put...

Hi, does anyone please have a contact or does someone on here do custom stainless steel U-Bolts. I would like to get a set for the 8 3/4 on back of my 68 Cuda.

Bolt on frame connectors 63-76 A-Bodies

I suggest weld in the frame connectors, provides better strength and do you really want to drill into your frame. The frame is what supports the whole structural integrity of the car, so why breach it with holes.

    Subframe connectors

Fabricating your own is the best way to go, store bought connectors tend to have weak areas or points on them that can be a problematic down the road or especially for a car that is constantly on the track. If you see what mopardude has done, he obviously is not screwing around, right way to go...

TRW and Thompson power steering pump?

Is a TRW and Thompson the same power steering pump, if not which one would be the more likely one to be found in a 68 Barracuda with a V8. I don't understand why Chrysler just couldn't run the same pump and pressure line for all three years 67,68,69. This would be less confusing for everbody...
