Update: the sleeve hole is beat out the size of the control arm bushing. That bushing will fit in it perfect. I have the sleeve. I'm have a piece of tubing that I'm going to drill holes in and plug weld the sleeve inside it and weld the ends, it fits snugly inside the tubing. And the thick wall...

This helped me 100%. I can't post pics of the tube area because the car is together. I was literally laying in the driveway under the car checking things as I typed. But I put lower control arm bushings in a few days ago. It was my first time. I had no idea what was supposed to be in there. The...

    Can someone please

I have a mig but I really don't believe I would be able to get it right. I'm leaning more towards swapping in my 74 V8 K-mem. Isn't a 74 K-mem the same for slant and v8? If so, besides brake changes, i'll just have to get some 74 slant 6 mounts. Or is that info completely wrong?

Replicar, I put new lower control arm bushings in. I'm not sure what the k-member sleeves are. I have another K-member for a V8 laying out for viewing purposes. It's a /6 k member and engine in the car.

    Can someone please

Okay I'm gonna give this a shot. I have read through all I can on aligning a front end. It all makes sense. I get everything right, make a trip around a lil asphalt test area at an old school next door. Half way through the road test, I drive straight and stop, get out check the front end...

    Front end alignment

I'm just trying to get it decent enough to drive to an alignment shop. I made a bunch of adjustments (tightening up and driving around the yard between changes to let things settle). It's got worse problems. The lower control arm bushings are junked out. That was most likely the main prob from...

    Front end alignment

It wasn't meant to be offensive to anyone. I don't have Internet at home. I just have to use what I have. I tried searching.

I have nothing to measure caster with. I was hoping for some way to just get it close. But I won't ask anymore questions. If I can't search and find it, I'll just forget about it.

    Front end alignment

Anyone wanna give me tips on doing an at home front end alignment? I know mechanically how it works and how to adjust. I just don't know where it should be set. Tops of the tires are in further than the bottom. I cam'd them out some so the tires sit straighter. Measuring front of the wheels it...
