I went with shocks from an 84 D150 truck. My springs are move into the frame rails with sliders instead of shackles. I use SS springs too, when my car launches the front and rear both jump up a couple inches.
Will your set up be good for drag racing abuse? I may be intrested. I set my 65 up for a bigblock but will be running a 360 until I get the chassis sorted out.

I'm there with my car and no cage. I tie the sub frames and call it a day. Car doesn't twist and I cruise with 28 12.5 slicks. I just have to be careful not to hit the 11.5 mark at the track so as not to get booted.
I heard for years that they don't work until I tested them at the track. 3 passes with and 3 without. With the bars I dropped 1.5 off my 60 foot. The only down side I found with them is they will drag roadkill home with you.
