If you are starting a project that includes perfomance upgrades such as 8 3/4 rear and more horsepower, then I would start by going thur your front end and also install new larger t-bars. Next make sure you have good brakes.

Just use a string line from the back of the rear tire to the front if the front tire. I set about 1/16 th inch toe end on each side by adjusting the tie rod ends. Do this without jacking the car and you will be good to go.

SS springs are for drag racing. If you dont want to replace them you could replace the front spring hanger. Somebody makes on that is adjustable. Bolts in stock location but has different holes that allow you to move the front of the spring up.

I have a 71 Demon with disc brakes. Kelsey Hayes i think. small bolt pattern and the caliper is located in the front. Does anyone know if parts are available to rebuild or replace these brakes. Thanks in advance for any help. sbpS
