    If you know of anyone who put Pergo in their house, ask them if they have any left over padding (or whatever it is called). It seems more dense than the original foam gasket; which leads me to think it is better. Anyways, that is what I did to replace mine. I had the old gasket and traced it...

    When I bought the adjustable rod from Mancini, it was a lot longer than the stock rod. Instead of cutting a $49 rod, I'll scour the salvage yards next spring and fab something. My main problem is that the pedal travels too far towards the seat and pushes the plunger for the brake light switch...
