POLL: Which is your favorite carb(s) of choice?

Another drawback is consistency. I used one on my Dakota for about a year and my et and mph was all over the place. Slapped on a holley problem went away. Everyone I know that raced with one ended up tossing it for a holley.

    eddy 650 or 750

If you go with an Eddy carb, I'd choose the 650. The eddy 750's are junk Personally I'd use a 650 Holley DP.

    Benefits of Fuel Cell?

The only benefit is you raise the tank higher than stock so its easier to gravity feed from the sump to an electric fuel pump. But like mentioned above, plan on fabbing up a fire wall. There are some cells that have sending units. My buddy has one with a sending unit in his bagged 67 caddy.

    carb question (Holley)

What is your fuel pressure? Too much will blow fuel past the needle and seat regardless of where you set your floats. 6 PSI is all a holley needs.

My Dakota slowed down when I replaced my factory cast iron square bore intake with one. 3 mph at the big end.
