I fixed my fuel guage because it had a wire broke. I didn't know what it looked like from the factory(pic?). I guess it's because I used a little too much wire. You can see it in this thread...http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=37780

"When unhooked the fuel gauge should peg all the way to the right. Then ground the wire and that should make it go to empty." I am not TOTALLY sure, but isn't this backwards? sorry if i'm wrong.

you can just solder the float if it has a leak. I ended up soldering a new wire on mine since the factory one broke. I have pics on here in another thread.

My fuel sending unit hasnt been workin in a few weeks but ground, guage, wiring all checks out so I just pulled the sender unit. Can someone tell me how the "gold" piece from the + wire connects to the rheostat? Mine is just kind of sitting there, if I test the rheostat everything checks out...

I tried hookin up my multimeter to mine and got no reading at all, and I know I had a good ground. Something wrong inside maybe?
