I am not sure on the gas engines but it is used alot on diesels one to cool the air charge and the egts (exsauts gas temps.) down and the methanol is suppose to work like octane boost on both gas and or diesel engines. now the compay that makes the water/methanol systems makes there own...

not sure what the pump is, it looks kind of like a carter but with out haveing a really hard to tell

the pump looks like it is mounted high but that is for carbed motors with the electric fuel pumps they are to be mounted as close to the bottom of the tank this is suppose to make the draw of the fuel easier

the blue pump is not ment to pull fuel. it will for a short time but the fuel is the lube. it should be mounted as close to the tank as possible and below the fuel if possible

well they should be the same as that was ones the originals the only differance is that they have a kick down for the automatic that should be the only difference

I have a fuel prresure gauge at the carb you should run 6 to 8 lbs of pressure to the carb. i am not sure on how to tune an edelbrock carb but with the holley there is a sit window on the side and you set your float so that the fuel comes to the bottom of the hole and this should put the float...
