    Engine idle

After the engine is up to temp, remove air cleaner assembly and take note of choke plate position. It should be open. If it is still partially closed, your choke well heat ports in the heads are completely coked with carbon. Those early choke stats are adjustable. You could leam it out some...

As good as you can find/buy/afford. When concealed in the factory case, no one knows. Personally, I'd beat the trees til a chrome box fell out. But, he's obviously running a restricted, "affordable" class. It's a popular"cheat" in the dirt **** around here. Can't have any MSD modules or any hot...

Put a good GM module inside the Mopar ECU case.

    340 Chugging instead of Reving

Good point. Some of these aftermarket distributors don't "phase" in like a stock one does. Like, after you set the tower shaft in, the slot should face first intake bolt on driver's side.

Reading back through, I don't see mention of valve springs. New? Used? Shitty bad new ones?

    340 Chugging instead of Reving

I put together an EQ headed 360 dirt engine for a local guy. The "cost effective" thing to do is use chevy rockers. Used the Comp 1.6 chevy. After the fact, I learned you need the 1.65 ratio chevys in order to come back to the actual 1.6 of the Magnum. With the 1.6 chevy, I lost lift and...

    340 Chugging instead of Reving

Have you verified valvetrain geometries with those rockers? If running chebby rockers, it can be finicky.

    340 Chugging instead of Reving

NGK. The engine I had this issue with was an iron headed, high compression, stock stroke 360. Ran the old N9YC plugs for years with no issues. Put in the NGK at the beginning of a season and had the issue. Had replaced the tune up parts as well, in preparation for said season. I replaced...

    340 Chugging instead of Reving

I noticed that while none of the plugs look great, the odd bank plugs seem noticeably darker. Seems odd, maybe just me. I was going to suggest a different set, or even a different brand. I had more of a high speed miss once. Changed out all my ignition parts before the plugs. Wound up being the...

5.7 hemi in an A body

A guy would have to run the numbers. I think it's possible. I've never really kept track of the mileage on my junk. It's always been about SPG. Smiles per gallon. Lol!

5.7 hemi in an A body

I think your expectations are on track. The three main pieces that HAVE to be purchased if you want a true "bolt" in are: the oil pan/ pan package, conversion engine mounts, and oil filter block off with relocation kit. These will allow you to run factory K member and suspension. 2010-11 Jeep...

I should also add, the intake ports were only gasket matched. Nothing done to the exhaust.

    B1 heads...6bbl

They worked pretty good for what they were. They were the B1BA. They had come off of a dirt engine. They were angle milled to try and get as much compression possible with a stock stroke 360. I used them on a 408. Compression was 15 to 1. In a 3300 lbs./with driver Dart, best E.T. was 11.07...

I ran the B1-Ba heads on a 408. Yes, any small intake will work.
