    non body man needs help

I agree with what was mentioned above. I know I am a little late to post on this topic. Take the car.... or sections of the car to bare metal and epoxy prime it. No need for etch. At the body shop where I work, we just switched from German based Glasurit paint to Dupont based Spies Heckler...

    Hood

I agree with Duster... the Organasal paint from Year One is also a great choice. If you're going for an OEM correct look, it is the only way to go. I used it on a '69 GTX that I had with the black-out hood treatment. Either way will be much better and last longer than rattlecan flat black...

    Fiberglass Hood

Seems like AAR is the top choice. I often wondered myself. As for the AAR products, how good is their one-piece frontend? Justin "CornDog"

You could also repaint it with base/clear. In the clear coat you add a flattening agent and it will give is a semi gloss look. The more flattening agent you put in it, the flatter it is. This is a good idea because with any clear coat, it will have UV protection. Justin "CornDog"

'73 Dart to a '72 Demon Frontend Swap

Well, I did alright but I wasn't able to buy everything to do the conversion. Not today at least. My friend told me about a very nice clean '72 4dr Dart that just arrived at a local junkyard.... By the time I got there this morning the car had ALREADY be picked over pretty well. I was able to...

'73 Dart to a '72 Demon Frontend Swap

I won't be going for a 100% accurate conversion.... I just hate the pointed nose of a '73. I will replace the front and eventually replace the tail panel and lights since it is dented. The interior I can live with. Justin "CornDog"

'73 Dart to a '72 Demon Frontend Swap

I have a '73 Dart Sport and would like to swap the front end out to the better looking '72 Dart/Demon front end. Besides the obvious (fenders, hood, grille, lower valance, and bumper) what else will be needed from the '72 in order to do the conversion? Thanks! Justin "CornDog"
