I did exactly that....for the exact same reason. Classic air system with recirc only. I did have a "uhhhhhhhh" moment when I realized the washer nozzles poked through the grate. So far I haven't addressed that problem...if I decide it's even a problem. I love the clean look and no more...

You'd probably be better off on eBay for that mirror. They're a perpetual add on CL down here for some guy that can get body panels (valance) reasonably cheap....I think he gets AMD, but not positive.

Yep. ANNNND, that stupid forward window channel lining that goes in the in the guide on the trailing edge of the vent window. Delicate as ****....flocked plastic trying to force it's way into the channel that has sharp leading edge. Guess who's ordering a 2nd set??! Luckily they're ONLY 100...

Yes, I'm installing them together. Total PIA, but they're in. However, the Vent window isn't secured right. Something is wrong. I'm only seeing two mounting points....plus that bolt/stud at the bottom. Attached are pics of the two that I'm using. Am I missing a third somehow??

Rick, Thanks for the info. I think I'm gonna just use mine, as they're serviceable rather than fuss with pulling them out and perhaps the new ones not working. HOWEVER, I do need two of these dudes....you carry them? It's the aft channel for the front door glass.
