    powder coat/ paint bumpers?

There are chrome colored powder coats out there. Several years ago I got samples from Cardinal of their chrome and clear coat. Painted a few pairs of V6 Dakota valve covers for some people. The best I can describe it is that it looked like the dull chrome that came out on Toyotas back in the 70...

    painting my 71 dart bumpers...

Try some 0000 steel wool, I think that is the finest. I did my bumpers and it removed most of the "aging". It won't take off any pitting but it does come out respectable. Also, won't get rid of dents, dings or cave ins...had to cover my butt. Followed up with a coat of wax and they look...

    painting my 71 dart bumpers...

You can try some of 0000 steel wool (think thats that finest). It cleaned most of the aging on my and left a respectable shine. No scratching that I can tell, it won't remove any pitting. I hit mine with a coat of wax after the polishing. I know that guy flying in the 737 over my house at 35000...

    Door Striker Bushings !!!!!

try looking at Mcmaster-Carr's website. Alhough they aren't automotive, I'm sure they'll have something usable to replace the rubber piece. Cutting, trimming and cursing may be required. www.mcmaster.com

    Front spoilers

I'm going to consider one of the Randy's spoilers, not for function or lift control, rather to hide the bottom of the core support that you see when you're standing back a bit. It just looks unfinished from the factory. It looks like it doesn't really mess with the square looks of the 67-69 Darts.

    Door paint

Ok, I can spray them myself, I have a gun. Doors aren't on car. They were painted yellow by the gentleman I bought them from. Is it just a gloss black or is there an official "name" for the paint.

Any recomendations on body repair book or DVD. Not doing anything major, just need to take out some dents and fix some old bothced, by PO, repairs. I've already started and it's not going all that badly, but I'd like some reference in case it does go south. Thanks [email protected]
