pop rivets for a transmission hump?

Modern panel adhesives are better than welds. Not even close to a true statement. You better watch your attitude, young man! Your lack of faith is disturbing.

    Windshield leaking

For the sake of discussion, make sure the windshield washer tube clamp screw hole in the top of the cowl, drivers side, under the hood, is sealed. Mine was admitting water there, and I thought it was wiper pivots or windshield gasket.

    POR-15 horror.

"Nothing screams poor workmanship like wrinkles in the duct tape!" LOL!! I had some run down on my paint under the tailamp housing, and did not see it until the next day. It would not come off! You got lucky.

    lightest a-body??

My 73 340 duster, PS, PB, 727, Dana, AL heads, 4 ch amp, Big sub box, 30 lb tool bag, buckets, console, 17" AL wheels and a full tank weighed 3485 without a driver. That's with the spare and the jack, and a few extra tools. It was weighed at the NHRA track scales in Reynolds, GA. Not sure how...

    Post Your Hoodscoops

You guys are amazing! I can't even apply bondo (or sheetrock mud) and get it smooth, much less cut, weld, and finish to look like that. True craftsmanship! I salute you.:salute:

One last go at roof rail seals

Here's hoping they can get it resolved. $200 for the steele seals hurts my feelings, and I am not sure about the precision seals - don't know if anyone has tried them yet. They are available off ebay, link above. I am subscribing to this post for any news...

One last go at roof rail seals

I bought a set of the Metros for my 73 Duster off ebay last year. Tried to fit them, they were obviously the wrong part. Those were likely for a a car with the windw fram attached to the door, where the window fits into a channel in the seal. I called Metro, very polite, they were going to...

    RoofRail seals don't fit?

Thanks for the ref. I'm surprised it did not turn up in my searches on FABO. I will probably wind up buying the Steele ones eventually.

    RoofRail seals don't fit?

Well, so far, not so good. I called Legendary & YearOne, and they both sell the METRO seal. We confirmed the part number, and it is correct. Oddly enough, YearOne has had 3 returned recently, but no reason was recorded as to why. I hate to spend $190 for the Steele Runner parts, so I called...

    RoofRail seals don't fit?

Oh Yeah, FABo works great! A few searches, and I found this thread http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=7989&highlight=roof+rail+seal My problem exactly! Apparently, METRO Seal thinks the 2 door sedan (swinger, etc.) is the same as a 2 door fastback, thus they have the...

    RoofRail seals don't fit?

The current OEM seal has 3 enclosed channels in the seal, whereas the part RR 4005 has no enclosed channel, just a piece with molded in features. There is no place for the seal to attach to the roof rail. Did you replace the molding on your Demon? Does it have a channel similar to the below...

    RoofRail seals don't fit?

I have a 73 Duster. I bought the METRO Sponge SuperSoft roofrail, part # RR 4005 for 70-74 Mopar "A" body fastback w/swing out rear qtr window, and the profile is completely different from what is in the car now. I double checked the part number on the seal itself, and it matches the...
