Looking for the upper door jamb seals for the car (74 swinger 2 dr). I think that's the correct name anyway, it's the seal that goes on the upper part of the door jamb above the striker and right at the rear quarter glass. Everyone I find only shows good to a 72. The ones that were on the car...

What he said! ^^ I was looking at > $1K for front and rear to be rechromed, already had enough body color paint on hand to do em.

Thanks!, that looks like I can cover the back quarter windows, I guess I'll call to see what to do about the front glass since I didn't see it specifically referenced. Need to find my body manual......

Getting to the point I can put all the side glass back in the car. There are supposed to be what looks like bushings, maybe plastic or nylon, that go thru some large holes in the door glass that hold the glass in place. All I have left is a part of one of em. Not sure what they are actually...

Seems I've misplaced the spring nuts that retain the hood hinges. Recommendations on where to pick them up (and what exactly I should be looking for) ? Trying to get that wrapped up this week so I can finish hanging fenders. <edit> I can get round spring nuts at lowes...

I saw those also but I kinda like the old-school chrome ones, seem more "correct" which is actually silly in some ways considering about all thats original on my project is some sheet metal and even most of that has been worked in some form or fashion....

Aacckkk...finding mirrors is turning into a painful lesson in expensive :( Want to put a mirror on both doors, used is a crap shoot and, honestly I don;t want the cable adjustment for the driver side, manual is fine. Found these but ouch, thats $250 for a pair...

So...I want to put a vinyl top back on my 74 swinger. It came with it based on the fender tag but somewhere in it's life someone removed it all half-assed and tossed a crappy paint job on it. I have no idea what I need to be looking for with regards to trim pieces etc to make this happen...
