I'm pretty sure I'm grasping at straws, but is there a way to buff out, polish, or even clear coat pitted glass. The windshield on my 64 Dart looks like it has been sandblasted. Before I buy new glass and seal, wanted to make sure there weren't any tricks to try.

Does anyone know a good source for the plastic clips used to mount chrome strips on the side panels, doors, etc? I need about 120 of them for my 64 Dart. I found them on R/T Specialties, but I have had a hard time reaching them; not to mention that they would run over $150.00. Any other...

You'll want to do a top/clear coat to provide protection, and make it easier to clean. If you want it to have a matte finish, add a de-glosser/flattening agent to the clear, and it will end up flat black.

I would go with the bedliner material mentioned above. The original stuff looks like someone slopped on tar by hand. The spray-on will look good, be pleny tuff for your application, and seems to be pretty user friendly. Good luck!

Be careful with the "rust converter." You said that you will have it "completely rust free...." Many rust converter products are specifically for use on surfaces WITH rust. If there is no rust present, they can actually create rust. Not sure about the Rustoleum product, but I would double...

Try "R/T Specialties" - they carry all of the old trim tabs, clips, etc.
