    '63 Valiant Newbie

That's a nice wagon. I have a 64 but the body isn't in as good as shape as yours. I love that generation of the A body wagons. Lots of fun to drive even with the Slant 6. I agree with @66340SEDAN - post more pics.

    early A-body Power steering

My 66 was like that. Took out the power steering box and replaced it with a Flaming River manual box, steering is nice and tight now.

    Headers, TTI or Doug’s?

Do yours have the ceramic coating?

    Headers, TTI or Doug’s?

I have TTI's on my 66 Barracuda. Quality and fit are great. If you're not using the factory torsion bars, your install will probably be a lot easier than mine was :) I had to run a mini starter but I don't recall which one. Wouldn't have been anything exotic or I'd remember. Whichever brand you...

    dougs headers

How do they compare to the TTI headers? I have a set of TTI's on my 66 Barracuda but I hate the fact that the driver side suspension has to be taken apart to install or remove them. Are Doug's the same or can you get them in and out without taking the car apart?

    first early a body project

That turbo setup looks pretty cool. Glad to see you decided to stay with the Slant Six. Hope you'll post more info when you get it running. Cheers, Ken

    Too many engine choices!

The Weber side drafts would look really nice in your wagon. You'd have a really unique car. I'd put a 340 in the GT though.

Fair price for straight, rust free A body?

I want to buy a project car next summer and I'd like to know what I can expect to pay so I know how much money I need to come up with by next April or May. I'd like to find one of these (in order of preference) - 64 Valiant wagon, any year (64,65,66) Barracuda, 64 Valiant 2 door, 63 Dart 2 door...

    Crackheads

Is it really that far out of line? I think Layson's price on a set of lenses for a 66 is around $500 and they list complete assemblies (re-chromed I assume) for $429 per side, but they're not currently available. If these really are NOS in perfect condition $1200 doesn't seem out of line. If...

    Oil pan for 66 Barracuda???

I'm putting a 318 in my 66 Barracuda (originally a 273) and was told by Milodon that their A engine oil pans (even the stock replacement pan) won't fit the 1963 to 1966 A bodies because the drag link on these cars hits. I don't really want to use the pan from my 273 because I want to keep that...
