    GM 1 wire alt on a 273?

I'm using one out of an 85 318 new yorker. The only change you need to make is to ground one of the field leads. Upgrading to a bigger hot wire is recommended....I have not done that yet, but I will in the resto.

2 questions 1 on a gauge and other is suspention.

Yeah, it forces you to really have to have sway bar and makes the bar work harder than it should have to.

2 questions 1 on a gauge and other is suspention.

Yeah, the other springs should work great then. I think it has got to help the handling qualities havin your shocks plumbed individually.

2 questions 1 on a gauge and other is suspention.

That'll be fine as long as you're not wanting it to be a corner carver. I don't like the air shocks handling qualities but they are just fine for cruisin around.

2 questions 1 on a gauge and other is suspention.

Do both sets of springs have the same number of leafs? If they do they are probably the same spring. Another option is some Monroe Load Leveler shocks for the back. I think they are about $100. http://www.shockwarehouse.com/site/mon_loadlevel.cfm

It won't break them but it may ride a little lower than you want. Let me see what info I can find. http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/ http://prosportgauges.com/ And yes, different brands, same gages as far as I can tell. I have some of the Glowshift gages and they look great and work well.

2 questions 1 on a gauge and other is suspention.

What are you trying to accomplish with the rear spring change? P.S. Both GlowShift and ProSport sell some nice inexpensive gages that will suit what you are looking for. You want a vacuum gage and a A/F ratio gage, preferably wide-band. The narrow-band gage works but only tells you if you are...

I'm gonna be doing the turbo on a much tighter budget than those two! LOL And yeah, the Hooker Super Comps I have are 1.625"...The new ones are lower quality and made in Mexico. I bought my set back in 91 and when I tried to replace them a while back i got Mexican crap that didn't fit! LOL...

What headers for s.b stroker in Early-A

You'll see 10's with the 1.625"/1.75" TTI step's!...but but I agree, you need bigger headers! I'm gonna go a dif route to the 10's! Small cam + turbo.

What headers for s.b stroker in Early-A

I want bigger headers for any hot performance small block. I have the TTI's and they perform great on my 69 340 4 speed, but the engine is capable of moving more exhaust if it had the room. I spent a lot on them and the coating did not hold up. they were also supposed to be a bolt in and they...

65-66 Dart Fan shrouds(Let,s see yours?)

I'll take some pics of mine this weekend. I put a 16" electric fan in a custom aluminum shroud on a Griffin radiator. I cut the fans mount ears off and attached them to the shroud so there are no parts sticking through the coolng fins. The shroud attaches to the flanges on the back of the...

    64 Viper Dart??

That's true, but it depends what he really wants. A 500 horse stroker small block is most likely not going to be very everyday driver friendly. If done right, a turbo 318 could produce far more than that and the pwer level could be adjustable from the dash. I will be posting my build on this...

    64 Viper Dart??

Turbo 318. Find a 85-91 318 at the boneyard. Rebuild it with good parts and a turbo friendly cam. Use late model Magnum truck manifolds...left on right, right on left so the exhaust points forward. The rest is just plumbing and the right turbo accessories.

    Whammo Wheelie bar

The government, with Ralph Nader and company pushing his BS, stepped in and saved a lot of the Darwin Award types from themselves. I figure that that is a big reason why there are so many stupid people still alive today! They have at least partially thwarted Darwin's Law.

Advice needed on hi-po warm up for 65 cuda

Yup we're cool. 65cuduh, if you don't wanna cut the tunnel I don't think a manual will work for ya. I would suggest that you find someone who has a car with a auto trans and manual valve body and see if they will let you take it for a drive or at least take you for a ride in it. The really...

Advice needed on hi-po warm up for 65 cuda

Thanks for the backup Fishman. I PM'd him and, hopefully, we understand each other a little better now. He is right about one thing, the performer cam I suggested is not the one I used in a friends build last year. There is no way we got his car running 13.40's with that cam. It was an...

Advice needed on hi-po warm up for 65 cuda

Did you wake up on the wrong side of something? WTF? The headers I listed are on the makers website for his app, I did tell him to contact them direct and make sure of fitment, right? You don't like the Performer cam, intake package? That's fine...he asked for around 300-325 horse. That set-up...
