This question has probably been asked before, but I am going to ask again. I have a 1965 Dodge Dart GT hardtop. Am I correct that there is only one place the VIN number on a hardtop is found and that is on the stainless-steel plate located on the left door hinge pillar post?

The zinc plating looks pretty good, may have to check into having that done.

Thanks for the input. It looks like a something was done to them, galvanized, but just wanted to check with members. Was just wondering if anyone had this problem before and what they did to their buckets.

Removed the headlight bulbs on my 1965 Dart GT and found one bucket to be rusted. Plan on treating the rust and repainting both of them. Looks like they are zinc coated. Is this correct? If so I will go ahead and use a zinc spray paint.

I have a 1965 Dart and the remote oil filter is mounted under the hood on the right hand finder well just behind the radiator core support. Have it high enough so that I have plenty of clearance to take oil filter off with no problem.

Getting in a bit late on this, but you might try looking at Classic Industries. They carry roof rail weatherstrip. Right now they are having a sale on and you might save a little money.

Not sure if this will help, but I have a set of Doug's headers on my 65 Dart. Has a 273 with power steering. Pain to get on an off, but they fit without any cutting.

Just finished removing the wiper arms! Instead of pushing the tang up I had to pull it down and then used a screw driver, resting on a plastic scraper, to pry up on the base of the arm right at the shaft. Came off with no problem. Thanks for the help.

I did feel a tang with my finger. Did not know if I should push it up or pull it down. Do not know what I would do without all the help I get from everyone out there. Will try what you said and let you know what happens.
