Having what it seems to be a distributor problem, car is hesitating and bucking while driving. Looking to see if anyone has a stock /6 distributor laying around. Local to PA w o uld be the best. TIA

I've heard some pretty descent sounding cars on youtube, but nothing in person. What is your favorite exhaust/muffler for a /6?? I barely can hear my car run right now, looking to do something a little different.

yes i have a vacuum gauge and yes i did check the timing chain slack and its ok.

ran a compression check came out ok, adjusted the valves....they were way out of wack Checked timing set a 10 degrees after adjusting holddown....car seems to be running alot better. how much timing do you usually run in these? And this is in a 72 Dart

The vacuum advance works, its in time, the throttle does open the whole way, im gonna do a compression check tonight...turning it over by hand it does not feel like the engine has any compression

It just Flattens out at rpm , it doesnt fall on its face and come back up. No cat on the car.

Just did the tune up and put a new carb on it, have tryed 3 carbs and all do the same thing...only thing i have not done is set the valve lash on the engine. Never done it on a slant six....any guidance?
