What the Best Electric B/RB Water Pump to Buy?

I have been running the Meziere standard pump for a few years in a stock housing. Electric Pump Mopar, insert style I did it so I could run a bigger CFM electric fan. I think it gave me 3/4" extra clearance vs the stock style pump with a pulley bolted to it. I would be interested in the size...

    B.B to 518 / S.B trans

They did mention the power loss and tried to sell me a GV OD, which I did not want. This car has always run in this configuration so I really have no idea. From what I have read they chalk it up to getting the rotating mass of the OD unit up to speed. I didn't really find any other...

    big block a body swap

If the engine and trans is in the car if you take out the torsion bars and drop the steering linkage by unbolting pitman and idler arms the headers slip right in no problem. Super easy. Garth

    B.B to 518 / S.B trans

Funny they advised me the same, but I had already explored the GV route and decided that I wanted an OD transmission 1970 Dart, you don't need mush floor mods per say, but you do need to remove the middle section of the crossmember, I used the US Cartool piece, which is a pretty sturdy unit, I...

68 Dodge Dart with 440 Cooling recommendation

Just an FYI. I run this for my 383. Temp gets up to 195, fan comes on and it cools down to 185 and turns off. This isn't instant and takes a few minutes but it keeps the heat in check, even in traffic and higher than 30 degree Celsius temps here. It typically runs about 185 on the highway...

440 roller cam conversion parts list.

I have a timing cover like the AREngineering one. It works really well. On the timing gear call the cam supplier, "most" steel cams will work with a "melonized" gear. I'm running a Crane one. Crane Steel Distributor Gears 66970-1 Garth

Sniper on a big block stroker

rmchrgr, Its not what the fuel injection wants it's what the engine needs. My cam is quite small (217/225 @ .050) and fits well with the Performer RPM's rpm range as well as my head flow. I asked Holley about all this before I built the engine and bought the sniper and they said build the engine...

Really cheap aluminum bare head? Any good?

Thanks IQ, just wondering for future builds. I know from reading that any if major headwork or porting is required to iron heads, you may as well just go aluminum. I was just wondering what the tipping point was. Thanks Garth

Really cheap aluminum bare head? Any good?

So question.. (it may be too general) At what point (say HP, cubic inches or even cam specs?) do you forgo a factory iron head (906) in favor of an aftermarket aluminum head? I'm not talking $$ here because in the end they all cost $$ in the end. I wanted to go stealth heads on my build, (383)...
