me i am a big block boy 383, 400, 426, 440 all are great motors stock to built, and to have one in an A-body that says something to me.

not sure about the headers but i know you can get motor mounts to put in the 383 from www.engine-swaps.com also called Schumacher Creative Services

looks like grinding is an option but boy is there enough room to get in there with a die grinder?

it just helps keep oil on the chain not sure if you can leave it off or not

you can buy the inner fenders i think it is AMD and cut out what you need, or make card board cut outs and make patches out of sheet steal for them. here is the link to AMD...

okay i going to through this out there check the ballast, and when i say this you may have it hooked up right but the ballast might be bad, my jeep had one on the fuel pump, 92 Cherokee, I replace the fuel pump and then found out my ballast was bad, just thought i put that out there

you do not have to line bore or deck it if you watched the last horse power on spike tv they just did a motor were they honed it. both stone and ball. flattened the deck with sand paper anf still did a really good job at makeing power out of what ever they wer buildingso no line honed does not...
