    Restoring a car without documentation

Check in the door jams for any signs of stripes. My stripes are long gone, but by looking in the jams I found the ends of my stripes still there. Mine is PP1 with red stripes ( I've never seen another with this combo... much less with maroon interior). Good luck and keep us posted with the pics.

    Mod top/No mod top?

I'd put the top on... Mod tops are cool. You could always buy the top, lay it on the car and see what you think. If you you don't like it, put it back in the box until you deside to do a by the numbers resto. My '68 is red w/ a red strip and maroon interior.... I don't care for red cars ( no...

    Paint mega-disaster (long rant)

Get A lawyer ASAP. Tell them the whole deal, show them what paperwork you have and take it from there. I wouldn't reley on anyones input, this is ALOT of money at stake and since it's going to be a legal matter do it right the first time and move on, don't take a chance at getting screwed out of...

    Adams 71 Dart

Looks good Adam. The Red would look good on it. Are you going with the dual scoops and stripe? I always thought it would be cool to make the scoops functional like on the 69 Coronet R/T's. I've heard of some one doing it and it turned out real sweet... looked stock too. Good luck with it ( I...

    Also bought....

When it's all done and over the only sucker will be the guy next to you at a light. At the point you're at with your car you have to spend more..... your paint looks too good to use cheap crap that will make it look bad.

    numbers matching ?

I've seen blocks cast several months before a cars build date, so I wouldn't be too concerned about it. Most of the guys that don't have the original engines try to get one made 2-3 months before the build date.

    "Accidently" Painted my Driveway

I like the look of black top better myself... some times the edges of the driveway can be a little hard to "paint" with out getting the grass.... wait the side walk might even be harder, unless you know smoe one with one of those " crotch rocket" fine tip brushes!
