Here are a couple of pictures of what I did when I mounted mine years ago. I went to pick and pull and got a throttle cable and kick down off a four cylinder Plymouth/dodge, not sure I think it was a neon. Hope the pictures help

That would be back fires through the carb I think there was a burn valve ? Not much compression in #6 cylinder .Still ran smooth down the freeway but would jump around pretty good when sitting at a light . Ow well it's long gone !

Went like a bat out of hell for a slant six. even decent gas milage about the same as the one barrel as long as you didn't stick your foot into...

I had an electronic choke with clifford stuff and when it rained the choke would go off no matter how long you have been driving. After working with it for years I gave and unhooked it no problem a casset case worked fine when cold till it was time to leave.
