I've never seen a hole made that neatly unless it was a dealer installed option. Curious. Kinda looks like a mod my cousin made for his car. Put a hole in the dash for his windshield washer hose to come through, filled up the washer resevoir with whisky/vodka/etc. and had an in-car shot...

Looks as great in the car as it did in pieces after you re-fabricated it. Do you have any wide shots to let us see how the whole dash looks in the car? I can't wait to see the door panels when they are done ... should tie it all together nicely.
