    11.5 is too lean for e85 on gas scale . I'd like to see it at 10.5-.8 Are you using pump e85? Depending on where you're located geographically you're probably not getting e85, it's probably e70-75 I'd say 23-25* is safe, not knowing anything about your combo.

    If all you want is 550hp, either do a stroker kit and keep it na. Or use a stock motor with a turbo. At 550hp it won't even be breaking a sweat. And is easily obtainable, and nowhere near block breaking hp.

    8 psi on 93 with an air to air, I wouldn't pull any timing at all. What are you reading air fuel with? what do the plugs look like? I'm betting on lifted ring land/ butting rings.

    Stock magnum 5.2 or 5.9 manifolds will work fine. You're doing way more work then needs done. You also won't be able to change plugs easily, and your wires will hit the tubes.

    Any tuner that supports sct can tune your truck with a factory. Find someone you can trust local that tunes, and take it there. Don't mess with the mail order tune, too many variables and too many idiots.

    How are you pulling timing for boost? What I'm reading says you're actually increasing the timing with mechanical advanced. At 5psi even with stock bottom end, I'd pull no timing. Lock the distributor out at 31-34* and be done.

    When the tune up becomes fatter because of low timing or for whatever reason, fuel will seep past the rings and ignite, hence lifting the ring lands.

    I'm at 11.9:1 on 10lbs 25* blow through e85 compression makes the biggest difference in how a turbo works.

    Already fat tune up, will become fatter with less timing, which could lift the lands especially with a turbo or nitrous combo. Granted it's less likely then damage occurring from pre ignition, it's still very much possible. Just something to think about.

    Turbo cars and rear gears

    I do know 03-04 cobras pick up a bunch with a numerically lower gear. I've done 3 or 4 after I did,the swap on my buddy's. Went from 3.55 to 3.27 and it picked up .7 in the quarter. Forced induction likes a lower numerical gear, typically.
