Check to be sure an adaptor isn't already screwed to the 3/8" NPT. I spent a very fustrating afternoon trying to install my gauge looking for reducer adaptors until I realized a 5/8" NTP adaptor was provided and installed already. Boy did I feel stupid. GregH
