The slits just fold together to fit the contour of the roof. The folds overlap. Thats how the factory did it. You won't notice any gaps.

Any big block on small block 4bbl aircleaner lid will work from 1970 up into the eighties. Some of the c bodies and trucks 2bbl aircleaner lids are the same too. very common lid should be easy to find

Was the fender from a 340 car? the 318 cars have the v8 emblem, valiant emblem and the duster sticker, but of course no 340 sticker.

My understanding is the chrome drip rails are standard on the 340 models with or without a vinyl roof. Every original 70 340 car I have seen has them. Even my plain jane 3spd manual rubber floor mat 340 duster has them (that car is basic). I could be wrong or maybe this applies to only...

Both my 1970 340 dusters did not have rocker mouldings or fender lip mouldings.

The only 4spd console cars I ever saw back in the day were the GTS darts. I haven't seen a factory installed 4speed console past 69. It would be interesting to see if there were any.

The mopar one comes with all the correct mounting clips, I would recommend that one, even though it is more expensive.

The differences might be in the assembly plant. Yours has an R. All my 70 dusters have a B which is hamtramack. they all have the rad support, package tray, and trunk lip vin.

On 340 dusters i am quite sure (not 100%) that there were no V8 badges on the front fenders ahead of the wheels.
