Because I have it on hand for my pool, I use a diluted solution of Muriatic acid. Because it's sold in plastic jugs, it must be safe for the plastic. Just be careful not to breathe it or spill it on yourself. Widely available and not too expensive (except it must be purchased by the gallon).

The electronic defroster (aka rear window heater) was an option in 73 (my 73 Dart Sport has it). All you need is the switch and relay and you'll be in business, no fab required. Oh yeah, don't forget the rear window with the heater grid.

Does anyone have a source for blower motor wheel for a non-AC 73 Dart Sport? I can find plenty for AC cars but that wheel is significantly larger than the non-AC wheel. Thanks, Foster

I just took mine apart. The hook hangs on a lip on underdash sheet metal. The shaft goes through the bracket in the vent box. There's a nut and washer on the end that provides the adjustment to take up the weight of the box.
