    If you are not trying to keep it original, check Wal-Mart (etc.) for stainless or aluminum sports bottles. I used a quart-sized one ($1) on mine, looks great, just drill a hole in the plastic cap and run the puke-tube down into it.

    Have to be careful with e-bay! I got a universal fit from Summit and I love it! It didn't come with a trans cooler, so I piggybacked one on, and it has side tanks instead of top and bottom, but the whole set-up (rad, trans cooler, hoses, cap and shipping) was just under $200.

    I think I actually ran mine for 5 or 6 years with no thermostat. It doesn't stay cold here for very long and the thought was then that no restriction = cooler engine temps.
