Glad I could help, and the exhaust system in mine is a 68 340 exhaust system from Year One, so the stock ones should work.

When the dual exhaust was added to my 67, the hook holding the strap was moved to the inside to make room. It has been that way for 30 years, and there has never been a problem with rubbing or vibration. Of course the original hook was replaced. Hope the pics help. Mark

Thanks for the info, actually I have a dual exhaust with 2 1\2 pipe right now. It is a stock 340 exhaust from Year One I installed last year.

Looking in the future to possibly replace my 340 manifolds with some headers. What do you FABO maniacs consider would be a good set of headers for my 340? Or should I bother with headers? Let the wisdom fly, because I need it and thanks in advance!

The 67 did not have chrome tips. When I put on a stock 340 exhaust system from year one on my 67 last year I found that out. The 68 tips were a little short, because apparently, I was told a 67 dart is a few inches longer than the 68-69. There are repos to fit the 67 but they are longer and...
