I just read in muscle car mag about new cams they came out with. I think it is comp cams is now making a 4 profile cam. The outboard cylinders 1,2,7 and 8 have more duration on intake and exhaust than 3,4,5 and 6 to balance fuel to all eight cylinders.

Did you put all the oil galley plugs in? There is pipe plugs that need to be installed or you will have a internal leak.

Get there early to go thru tech. You need catch can for coolant over flow. If you run slicks I think going to need driveshaft loop. Need fire extinguisher secured in car. May need helmet, no flip flops. Have fun.

Yea too much cam for that carb. Problem I see is getting off the line without blowing the tires off. If you run slicks you need a driveshaft loop. If you are running small ujoints expect something to give if you get carried away with slicks. You should not have any problem covering this guy.
