Will 225/70/14 tires fit on a stock 1969 Dart?

I should have said with 225/70/14 with drums and sbp rallies they rubbed a little on the front. Went to the lbp rallies with the disc brake conversion and they rubbed more. That conversion pushes the wheels out a little. Then the tire size change to 225/60/14 solved the problem.

Will 225/70/14 tires fit on a stock 1969 Dart?

On my 67 Dart that size was ok in the rear but rubbed on the lower front fender. I had sbp rallyes but I did have 73-76 factory disc brake conversion for the front. Went to 225/60/14 and solved the problem.

    Rookie mistake.....need help

I would guess the replacements were wrong. I replaced all five of the left rear on my Dart with no problems but I used old factory studs from another car.

    Rookie mistake.....need help

Rears are MUCH easier. Not swedged. Use some penetrating oil. Leave nut on lug flush with top end of lug and hit with a big hammer. They will come right out.

Post your wheel and tire combos.

For loganscuda: Looks great. If you don't mind saying, do you have any rear suspension mods or body mods to sit the wheelwell over the tire like that? And what is the width and backspace of your rear wheels? I'm looking to run the same size tire on my 69 fastback. Thanks for any info.

Looks great. Is that the 8 inch wide rallye with 4.25 backspace in front? Are the spindles 73-76 factory a body? What size tire? Sorry for all the questions but looking to do the same on my 69 Barracuda. Glad it worked for you.
