See the notch in the picture for the exhaust tip. This is a real easy way to tell if our cars came with a hi-po 273.

Under the left bumper bolts

Its definitely an original Commando 273 car because the rear lower valence has the notch in it for the hipo resonator exhaust tip.

First 2 digits will V8 but I think that will only tell you that it was a 273 car but not if it was a 2 bbl or 4 bbl engine.

If it came out of an A-body originally than it should be a bolt in swap minus U-bolts, the things the U-bolts bolt to, and shortening the drive shaft. Also this rear would have large bolt pattern. The rear your looking at is most likely an A-body because why would someone waist time making a...
