Did A bodies ever have a vent similar to what B bodies have? I.E. one that pops up in to the trunk, then back out again?

Simple. With the secondaries properly set up on a vacuum secondary carb, you will only pull fuel when the motor is ready for it. The carb he has is trying to force feed his motor and may well be flooding the thing out.

Anyone consider it could just be to much carb for his motor?

I'm assuming this carb still has a power valve. If so, check to see what it is, and then check your vacuum. Could be you're running richer than Bill Gates

Not that I'm ready for it, but I'm getting closer to deciding what intake I want to run. So can anyone tell me the performance difference between the LD4B and LD340? I know they are made differently, but what's the deal?
