Drove the car today. First time it has moved under its own power since Apr 2016.And the first time the 383 has powered the Bee since 1995. Have to adjust the Lokar kick down.And fix a valve cover leak. Plan on taking it to a Fathers day cruise sat...

Got the Bee fired up tonight... First time the 383 has fired up in the Bee engine bay since 1995!!

Yes we kicked around silver. Then black...to hard to keep clean. Then I talked him into Ralley green with a black stripe.

So my Swinger is going to be a fall -winter project.

Dad bought this Bee in 1989. Matching numbers 383 auto car. Solid Utah body . The car in 1989 had 180,000 miles on it. Now the car is pushing 300,000 miles. Dad pulled the 383 around 2000 or so and dropped in a 426 Hemi.In 2016 Dad pulled the Hemi and sold it.The plan was to drop the numbers 383...

I would not touch it. Drive it and enjoy it

It is getting a v8 mini tubbed and torque thrust wheels...

Think of adding a Demon or twin scoops. Painting engine bay,hood,cowl,and A pillers. I know its mine do what you want.I generally like Mopar engine bays body color. But though this may look good doing in gloss black.

Lost my job of 19 years and was unable to finish it. Sold it to a FABO member then he sold it to another member I believe. Now I have a 71 Swinger project car.
